Scarborough North Cliff
Although Scarborough North Cliff Golf Club dates back to 1909, the present course was designed by James Braid and established in 1928. The course starts on the cliff top and then moves inland threading its way between trees and spinneys, with lovely views of the North Yorkshire Moors before returning to the cliff top for the final three holes.
The course is sufficiently undulating to be interesting without being excessively hilly and is a tough but fair test for golfers of all abilities.
With the prevailing wind from the west the first five holes provide a stiff test of golf and par on these holes is a good start. The homeward run has glorious sea views across the North Bay towards the Castle before arriving back at the Clubhouse where a welcome drink awaits
Scarborough South Cliff
We have one of the finest courses in the North of England. boasting 18 holes, 11 played through rolling parkland and 7 ‘links style’ holes played on the cliff tops with stunning coastal views across Scarborough.

New members are welcome to the Club and we currently have no joining fee.

Filey Golf Club
Filey Golf Club was established in 1897. The course moved to its present site on the south side of town two years later. The design of the "new links" is credited to James Braid and examples of his design features can be seen on the course.
The course has been modified over the years to take into account modern technology but still retains the original Braid layout.
The purchase of adjoining land has allowed the club to incorporate a 9 hole short course into its facilities. This "Academy" course continues to be developed but is proving popular with beginners and visitors who do not wish to play the main course.
The old clubhouse has been replaced with a modern building to cater for the needs of members and visitors.
The welcome you receive at Filey Golf Club has not changed over the years. We hope you will continue to visit our fine Club and Course.
Flamborough Golf Club
Flamborough Head Golf Club is an 18 hole cliff top links course that has been carefully moulded around the contours of the famous headland which gives the Club its name.
The golf course provides both a good test of your golfing skills and an enjoyable experience for Members and Visitors of all abilities throughout the year. The unwary can be forgiven for standing on the 1st tee and being deceived by the apparent gentleness of the view across the course.
The Course & Clubhouse are surrounded by magnificent and panoramic views of the North Sea including both lighthouses, the original of which, known as the Old Beacon, was built circa 1674, and is the only known example in England and can be found on the course next to the 5th tee.
